GEI Mekong has today announced that Mr. William Willis will take over the role of Chief Executive Officer of GEI Mekong.
Mr. Willis, who is Principal of Australian company DPSS, a 20% shareholder in GEI Mekong, joined the GEI Mekong Board of Directors in June this year.
With new waste-to-energy projects under development, GEI Mekong has re-structured its Board and Management, with Mr. Willis taking on the role of CEO.
Mr. Willis, who has a Masters Degree in International Development has years of experience in solid waste management, having been a waste management Advisor to Governments, as well as a project manager and procurement specialist for projects in South India, Lao PDR, Cambodia, Vietnam and Myanmar.
